A commission is a painting of your own. Your dog. A bird you watch from the kitchen window. A place that means something to you and to almost nobody else.
You tell me what matters about it, and I paint it by hand in watercolour on Winsor and Newton archival paper, using professional artist's pigments. It arrives signed, and it exists once. No prints are made of it.
How it works
Choose your size below and place your order to hold a slot. I'll be in touch within a day or two so we can talk properly: your photographs, the pose, the light, what you want the painting to feel like. I send early drafts as the composition takes shape, and we refine it until it's right. Then it's painted, signed, and posted to you carefully packed.

Sizes and prices
A5, from £200. Intimate, for a shelf or a small wall.
A4, from £300. A real presence in a room.
A3, from £440. A statement piece, and the fullest detail.
These are starting prices, for a single subject on a quiet background. More than one subject, or a detailed setting, is quoted before we begin. Nothing is agreed until you're happy with it.
Availability
Four commission slots before Christmas. Orders need to be in by 30 October for a painting to arrive in time. When the four are taken, that's the end of it until the new year.
