Frequently Asked Questions

Who creates these prints?

Every piece in the Folklore Collection is created by me — one artist working from my studio. Each design begins with a photograph, then slowly develops through layers of drawing, painting, and texture until the atmosphere of the piece feels alive. No AI, no prompts, no algorithms — just imagination, patience, and craft.

How are the prints made?

All prints are professionally produced by a specialist studio on high-quality art paper. The result is rich in colour and detail, capturing the texture and mood that existed first in my mind, then on the canvas. Each print is checked carefully before postage to make sure it is of high quality and free from defects, creases, or damage.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Most orders are packed and sent within a week. Once dispatched, they usually arrive within a few days. Each print is carefully wrapped to ensure it reaches you safely. A3 prints are sent in a flat envelope with a sturdy backing board to keep them protected during transit.

What if my order is delayed, lost, or damaged?

Very occasionally, a parcel can go astray or arrive damaged. If that happens, just contact me — I’ll send a replacement straight away at no extra cost. I want you to enjoy your print, not worry about the post.

What sizes do the prints come in?

Prints are available in standard UK A-sizes:

  • A5
  • A4
  • A3

That means you can easily find frames online or in shops without needing anything custom.

Do you have any framing advice?

I usually recommend using a frame one size larger than your print — for example:

  • A4 frame for an A5 print
  • A3 frame for an A4 print
  • A2 frame for an A3 print

This leaves a clean border around the artwork so it can breathe, and prevents the edges from being pressed against the glass.

Who packs and sends the prints?

That would be me. Every print is checked, packed by hand, and sent from my office with care and attention.
